Appointment deepens Man of Many’s editorial bench and supports the next phase of the brand’s multi-platform push into premium video, original podcasting, and serialised storytelling
Sydney, Australia – July 7, 2026 – Man of Many, Australia’s largest digital men’s lifestyle publication, has appointed Jackson Langford as Digital Editor, continuing the expansion of its editorial team during a period of record audience growth.
The appointment deepens Man of Many’s editorial bench and supports the next phase of the brand’s multi-platform strategy. With Langford strengthening day-to-day editorial operations, Editor-in-Chief Rob Stott expands his remit across video and podcasting, overseeing all editorial content and social as Man of Many accelerates its push into premium video, original podcasting, and serialised storytelling.
Langford brings over a decade of experience across music, culture, and entertainment journalism, with bylines and editorial roles at NME, BuzzFeed, LADBible, Thrillist, Bustle, MTV Australia, Music Feeds, Junkee, among others. He also hosted MUSICBible Australia, a podcast spotlighting Australian musicians.
In his new role, Langford will lead Man of Many’s daily editorial output, commission and edit content across the brand’s core lifestyle, culture, and technology verticals, mentor the writing team, and uphold the editorial quality and standards the publication is known for.
“Man of Many has built something rare: a genuinely premium, independent brand with a loyal audience and a clear point of view,” said Langford. “I’m excited to join at such a pivotal moment, and to help grow both the editorial team and the quality of everything we publish across every platform.”
Building on Record Audience Growth
Langford joins at a high point for the business. Man of Many is the number one men’s lifestyle title in Australia on Ipsos iris, the IAB-endorsed industry measurement currency (February, March, April and May 2026). Despite the impacts from AI Overviews, the publication’s monthly organic search clicks rose 40 per cent year-on-year, and referral traffic from AI platforms climbed 106 per cent.
This momentum follows a year of significant industry recognition, including Media Brand of the Year and Website of the Year at the 2025 Mumbrella Awards. Man of Many has also been named a Financial Times High-Growth Company (APAC), an AFR Fast 100, a SmartCompany Smart50, and a Deloitte Tech Fast 500 winner.
“Building a deep, talented editorial team is how we scale quality, not just output,” said Rob Stott, Editor-in-Chief at Man of Many. “Jackson is a sharp, culturally connected editor who understands exactly what our audience cares about. Having him drive our daily editorial frees me to focus on where the brand is heading next, across video, podcasting, and social, while making sure everything we publish holds the standard our readers expect.”
Man of Many Co-Founders Scott Purcell and Frank Arthur welcomed the appointment. “Jackson’s appointment is a clear signal of our commitment to investing in editorial as we grow,” said Scott Purcell. “As we expand across video, audio, and social, genuine editorial depth is what lets us move faster without compromising on quality. Jackson brings real cultural fluency and editorial rigour, and we’re thrilled to have him helping lead the next chapter.”
